soft bodies
Soft bodies explores the intersection of artificial life and material ecology, imagining a world where soft robots and synthetic entities are entirely biodegradable and renewable. Through an artistic lens, it investigates the aesthetics of form complexity, minimalism, translucency, movement, and their impact on human perception and connection to these entities. Soft bodies proposes synthetic lifeforms that contribute positively to our biosystem and it's diversity, rather than depleting it. This series uses experimental and uncontrollable elements of human design to embody the spirit of unruly creativity and resilience of nature, as well as computational parameters to create stable, balanced structures inspired by parametric design.
