Inspired by Carl Jung’s ideas on nature and the human proliferation of machines. Jung warned that when we lose our connection to nature, the machine fills the psychic vacuum. Here the machine becomes both altar and artifact, and the body sits within it, dependent and vulnerable.

Made up of (second-hand) industrial pipe jacks / Saddleman motorbike seat for a Harley / 1980 Suzuki rm125t bike frame / side frames from the wreckers- - and the aliens I digitally sculpted in Z-brush, made a one piece mold of, 3d printed the mold in PLA and cast pigmented silicone into it.
