Lisa Meinesz

LISA MEINESZ
digital + physical sculpting
Lisa Meinesz digitally sculpts speculative life forms inspired by synthetic biology, anatomy, soft robotics and material ecology. Her work explores how biological life might evolve through technological intervention, environmental adaptation and new material systems.
Working across digital and physical processes, Meinesz translates these digital organisms into 3D-printed aluminium sculptures, cast biomaterial works and sculptural assemblages constructed from recycled motorbike components. These objects resemble future specimens or biological relics, shaped by technological residue, environmental pressure and evolutionary adaptation.
Alongside her fine art practice, Meinesz works as a 3D artist and designer across the film and music industries. Her credits include 3000 Years of Longing, 65 and In Vitro, as well as collaborations with artists including Anyma, Unprocessed and Lou Karsh.
